All About The Home Ltd (referred to as 'AATH', 'we' or 'our') is committed to protecting your privacy. We have put in place policies and procedures to protect personal information we collect about you so as to comply with the UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998. We will not use any information collected from you when you order for any other purpose than processing your order or for any subsequent/ further sales.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

phone number
email address

For your security, once payment has been made, credit card details are NOT held by AATH Ltd either in hard copy or electronic form. This may prove inconvenient for returning customers however it ensures maximum security of financial details.

We do not send marketing mails

Data Protection

If you choose to complete one of our on-line forms, the personal information you provide will be used by All About The Home Ltd to enable us to deal with your requests in the best possible manner. It may also be used to monitor the progress of your enquiry within All About The Home Ltd and to register any subsequent sale of any of the products you have requested. Our purposes for holding personal information and a description of the general categories of parties to whom we may disclose it can be found in the Data Protection Register which is administered by The Information Commissioners Office (www.ICO.gov.uk). You should note that we do not supply any information about you to anyone unless we believe it is lawful to do so, or where you have given your consent in advance. You have the right under the Data Protection Act to request a copy of the personal data, which we hold with reference to you on our computer systems.

Your personal data will NOT be used for any form of marketing.


All About The Home Ltd strives to minimise the risk of out of stock items but if for any reason an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you immediately with a proposed date of delivery.


Currently All About The Home Ltd. accepts most major credit and debit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Switch and Delta. All payments are processed through Sage Pays secure portal and are processed as an authentication of the card details. No financial transaction take place as our Sage Pay system simply verifies your card and personal details. Your card will only be authorised for payment, and the payment taken, once your order has been confirmed.   AATH also offers Paypal and Google checkout as alternative means of making payment. All Google and Paypal payments are processed through Google/Paypal's secure payment portals and are processed as authorised payments. Paypal and Google payments will only be taken upon order confirmation.

Delivery Time

All goods, unless otherwise specified within the details, will be dispatched within 2 -5 working days. We will always aim to exceed this timeframe wherever possible. We will advise customers whenever a delivery is to be delayed for more than 3 days. You will be able to cancel your order if the delivery date is not acceptable.

Postage Rates

Postage rates are detailed within the delivery charges page and can be checked by adding the item(s) to the cart and selecting the appropriate delivery zone..
All postage rates are either charged at cost or are subsidised. AATH does not profit from any courier rates charged.

At All About The Home Ltd. we endeavour to ensure that your products arrive to you efficiently and in good condition. It is important to us that you are satisfied with All About The Home Ltd. and our after-sales care. 

We are proud to be one of the very few online dealers who send out bikes fully assembled. When we send out our fully assembled bikes all you need to do is turn the handlebars & tighten them and pop the pedals on.(stunt pegs & baskets cannot be fitted due to carrier restrictions)  Please read below for more details on our delivery service.

All other items are either dispatched from our North Wales warehouse or direct from our distributers. We request that all goods are signed for as unchecked or damaged if there is any noticeable damage to the packaging. All items should be checked within 24 hours of receipt and any problems/damage reported immediately.

All packaging should be retained for use should the item need to be returned to ourselves. If the packaging is destroyed, and replacement packaging is required, this will be chargeable together with associated carriage costs

When placing your order please ensure that you provide the correct shipping address as any charges incurred through items not being able to be delivered will be the buyers responsibility. Delivery addresses can be amended prior to dispatch providing that the item has not been booked onto the courier system.

Any item which has been correctly delivered but refused will incur the full delivery charge. All our couriers will leave a card if you are not in when they attempt to deliver which allows you to arrange for a redelivery or to collect from the depot. If the item is returned because no contact has been made or second/subsequent deliveries have failed, the outward delivery charges together with any failed delivery attempt charges will be payable by the customer. Abortive delivery charges will be the actual carriage cost which maybe more than was shown in checkout. For example a fully assembled bicycle which shows “free delivery” to zones A/B would be charged at £15. This will be in addition to the failed delivery charges.

Returns Policy

Return of all Items

We accept the return of items which are unopened and in their original condition. To return an item to us you must contact us within 7 days of their delivery to inform us of your intention to do so. All returns must be arranged through Customer Service, who will issue you with a returns authorisation number. If you return goods, as detailed, within 14 days of delivery to you, we will issue a refund to you for the price you paid for the item less the cost of transporting the goods to you. This will be the actual carriage cost which maybe more than was shown in checkout. For example a fully assembled bicycle which shows “free delivery” to zones A/B would be charged at £15. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Items returned, at your expense, are still your responsibility while they are in transit.

All goods being returned must be packaged appropriately i.e in the same manner as they were received. Unprotected items or items with loose accessories will get damaged in transit and will cannot be accepted. In such circumstances the customer will be informed accordingly to arrange collection.

* Any free gifts supplied with the item must be returned with any at the same time. Items not returned will be charged at their full retail value and will be deducted from any refund

Faulty or Damaged Items

Damaged Items

If your item has been damaged in transit you should notify us within 24 hours or receipt but no longer that 48 hours. Please ensure that you have signed for the consignment as damaged or unchecked and notify Customer Services who will arrange for the goods, where necessary,  to be collected. Please ensure items are suitably packed as received, as returned damaged goods will be checked against the reported damage. Unprotected items or items with loose accessories will get damaged in transit and deductions may be made from any refund for additional damage caused through inappropriate packaging. Return packaging is the responsibility of the customer. Where collection is arranged by AATH Ltd, the responsibility for making goods available for collection remains with the customer. We will endevour to agree the day of collection, however we cannot guarantee a specific time.  Where collection has been arranged and fails due to the goods not being made available no further attempts to collect will be made and the responsibility for returning the goods will be the customer’s.

Faulty Items

In the event of your item developing a fault please contact us immediately the fault is noticed and stop using the item. If an item develops a fault and its continued use causes further damage the subsequent damage will not be covered.
We will require a full description of the fault and we will advise a course of remedy dependent on fault type and timescale. Where a faulty item needs to be returned it should ideally be packed its original packaging (or the equivalent) and product protection, together with all warranty documents, manuals and accessories. All items being returned must be correctly packed to prevent any damage. Goods received which have sustained damage during their return will be returned with the appropriate repair carried out. 

Where you are required to return the item we would recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery Service.

All returned items will be inspected and tested before replacement/repair etc. Items which are found to be free of defect, or have been subject to misuse, user error or lack of maintenance will be subject to a chargeable repair and inward (where AATH has collected the item) and return carriage costs. We will advise you of these circumstances before carrying out any work.

Our Returns Policy does not affect your Statutory Rights

Cancelling an Item

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days of delivery. This applies to all of our products purchased for consumer use. The purpose of the act is to allow the consumer to inspect the goods in the same manner as if in a shop but does not allow for testing. To cancel the contract you must write to All About The Home Ltd, Unit 1 Pinfold Industrial Estate, Pinfold Lane, Buckley, Flintshire, CH7 3PL or email  to sales@all-about-the-home.co.uk  informing us of you decision to cancel the contract ensuring that we receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. The responsibility of returning the goods is the customers and goods should be returned to Unit 1, Pinfold Industrial Estate, Pinfold Lane, Buckley, Flintshire, CH7 3PL. We recommend that you use a insured service to return the goods and to ensure that they are packaged in the manner in which the goods were received as the customer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned to ourselves.


All products come with manufacturer’s domestic warranty of between 3 months and 5 years as detailed in accompanying literature. In the unlikely event that your purchase develops a fault within the warranty period you should contact All About The Home Ltd. Where appropriate we will refer you to the relevant manufacturer and the resolution will be as stipulated within the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. In the event of a claim under warranty, cover is for replacement parts only and labour charges are the responsibility of the customer. Return postage costs & packaging are the responsibility of the customer. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. PLEASE NOTE: Where an item has been used for commercial purposes this will invalidate any claim under a domestic warranty. Neither All About The Home Ltd nor the manufacturer can be held liable for fair wear and tear or misuse of the goods. In all circumstances, All About The Home Ltd will not be liable for any additional costs incurred whilst goods are away for warranty repairs - this includes rental or hire charges for equipment from a third party and shipping.

For bicycles all items classed as consumables such as inner tubes, tyres, chains, brake blocks/pads & cables are not covered under warranty.

Maintenance and Servicing

Bicycles and bicycle equipment  will require ongoing maintenance and servicing in accordance with manufacturers guidelines. Items which develop faults which have not been properly maintained, misued or incorrectly installed will not be covered by any warranties. Similarly if an item develops a fault and its continued use causes further damage the subsequent damage will not be covered.
