Who are Kudos?

Kudos Electric Bikes are part of the long established Rally Design Group (established 38 years ago). Kudos brings a new ethos to electric bikes of delivering exceptional quality at very affordable prices. This isn't achieved through sacrificing the quailty of the component parts in fact nothing could be farther from the truth. Kudos Electric Bikes sport some of the best components on the market. Instead Kudos' electric bike prices are so fair because of the buying power that the company has. The same principle followed by many of our High Street stores!

Batteries

Kudos are one of the first electric bike companies to fully heartedly embrace the LiFePO4 battery (Lithium Phosphate). Not only does the battery provide for quick charging and long lie but its cheap to produce and is easily recyclable. A LiFePO4 battery only takes 1 hour from 50% charge to full but has a 1500 cycle (number of charges) life equivalent to 5 years of normal use and replacements start from just £160.

Kudos Electric Bike Specifications

All Kudos Ellectric Bikes are hand built from either 7005-T% or 6061 heat treated aluminium alloy. Most of the urban bike range include Shimano Deore 9 speed gearing or the ever popular Nexus 8 integral gearing, LED lights, multi assistance levels & LCD display. Within the Kudos electric mountain bike range you will find Shimano Alivio 24 speed gearing, Tektro Hydraulic disc brakes & Sram Rock Shox forks! Even the folders have a choice of 6 speed Tourney gears or Nexus 3 speed

Quality control

All Kudos Electric bikes are fully assembled in the factory and then live tested before being shipped. All About The Bike® then reassembles and road tests your kudos before dispatching fully assembled or handing over for local pickup. All Kudos Electric Bikes meet or exceed EN15194 - the European standard for Electric Bikes

Warranty

All Kudos batteries carry a 2 year warranty as do their frames. All other parts carry a standard 12 month warranty (this excludes consumables like innertubes, tyres brakes blocks etc)

Test Rides

The most important part of any electric bikes purchase. All About The Bike® positively encourages you to come and test ride our electric bikes. We will always aim to have at least 3 Kudos electric bikes available at any time. As the purchase of an electric bike is a considered purchase and we like to make sure that we have sufficient time to answer your questions and run through the bikes with you.
