All About The Bike Delivery Information
All About The Bike uses Business Post for all bicycle and large item deliveries and Royal Mail for smaller/lighter items. We are able to deliver throughout the UK and Europe on all our bikes and accessories including our electric bikes and full builds. The quickest way to check delivery charges is to add the item to the cart, select the appropriate delivery zone and the delivered price will be shown.
Please note: Where a bike is advertised as fully assembled or is over £200 select the "Standard Delivery" option for your zone.
How long do deliveries take?
We send all our bikes on a 24 hour weekday service however there are occasions where delays occur within the courier system. Once you have received notifcation of dispatch we are able to confirm that deliveries are out for delivery by calling us on 01244 552000 on the morning of anticipated delivery.
How long do I have to check my item?
We recommend that all items are signed for as "unchecked". When signed for as unchecked the courier allows 5 days from, and including the day of receipt, for any damage/loss claims to be submitted. If an item is just signed for the courier only allows 2 days from, and including the day of receipt, for any damage/loss claims to be submitted. If we are not made aware of any loss/damage within these timescales no claims can be submitted.

Zone 2 - Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden - £35

Fully Assembled Bikes
We can now send virtually any bike fully assembled removing the need for 5% finishing assembly which is normally required. Some brands we send out fully assembled as standard and this is shown either within the product description or in the banner on the left hand side. For our other brands we are great believers in choice and a fully assembled option can be chosen in checkout. All Charges are detailed above
How will my fully assembled bike be packed?
All fully assembled bikes are packed into one of our custom made boxes or in the case of childrens bikes in one best suited to its size. All the gears, brakes, chain and fittings are checked and the tyres inflated. In the case of electric bikes these are fully test ridden aswell. When you receive your bike all you need to do is to turn the handlebars 90 degrees and tighten and pop the pedals on. (we are unable to fit Pegs on BMX as they cannot be transported with these fitted) |
